Do I keep information from each image in a batch in their own image entry or can I combine them?
To explain further, I have a batch of 2 images, the first with most of the information on an individual, and the second with a more recent record date of the same individual. Do I use the date from the second image in the entry for the first?
Also, for that second image, if I were to put that information on the first image's entry and leave the fields in the second image blank, then it would ask me to set the second image as "No Extractable Data", which would be untrue, as I used its data in the other. Thanks for your help!

Please share your batch code so we can assist you further. The batch code is at the top of your indexing screen and looks like [A1B2-C3D]. It is also located under Batch —> About Batch and Help —> Share Batch.

It really does depend on the specifics.
As erutherford assumed, you're probably talking about a naturalizations project; I find the combine/separate instructions in those too complicated to remember, but if I read through them, I can usually figure out what applies to the batch at hand.
In general, in indexing, we fully index each entry on the image where it begins. The trick, of course, becomes the definition of "an entry". If page 2 is considered part of the same entry as page 1, then yes, you'll end up marking page 2 as NED, even though you used it to complete the indexing on page 1. I think the naturalizations projects, being full of variable-pagecount files, were trying to avoid this complication. (And thereby made things more complicated.)
