Quick Name Review
Is it me or is there an issue with the above? If the name is correct, I click the match button, but should I want to go back and click the back button the name is gone. I reported this but was advised this:
"What you described could happen if your image was the first in a batch or on a film. It is not something we can duplicate or investigate.
If it happens again, please report it using the Feedback button on the left side of your screen."
If I click on the feedback button this what I get with that.
ted the requested action. Please visit the FamilySearch Community for help or to report an issue." I also use to be able to cut and paste or use the snip it tool to put the image in here., but it says that I don't have permission." Is this something new? So now I am only to explain the issue instead of showing the issue. I was able to copy and paste the images into my email to forward to tech support but can do it here anymore.
Any help would greatly be appreciated and thank you in advance.

The facility to add an image here in the Community has been broken since April. You can see the workaround here:
The Feedback button on various pages may malfunction depending on your browser configuration, especially any AdBlockers you may have active.

@FaithHamm Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I will send it in to be investigated. Thank you for your patience while we work towards a resolution.

The response to the underlying issue of…. (verified names disappear when attempting to "go back" in case an alternate spelling needs to be corrected) wasn't addressed. See Ticket #1037652……… Same issue

There is another issue now, apparently the "Not a Person"" button is not working. An example is that if there are two initials that are picked up and correct the second initial and then click next, it then picks up the 2nd initial and if you click not a person and go on to the surname and go back, the second initial is still there even though you clicked not a person. I did not screenshot it but should you get a surname twice you can't the second one with the not a person.
I am not sure @Ashlee C. will get a copy of this because when you go to add the first person and click on the name it won't highlight even if you type the person that you want. The second person highlights, but not the first person, you can't even click on that person to add them. You also can't go back to the start of the message in order to get the first person to get it highlight and turn blue. You can get the first person to highlight if you add then to the end and go back to take out the first person you added and take them out.
The screenshots will be added once I go through the work around for that.

Faith, is this in Quick Name Review or Full Name Review?

This is Quick Name Review. The last time I did Full Name Review it didn't work as it didn't give me any names but that was months ago. I thought that the two where combined.

@Ashlee C.,
I am checking the Full Name Review and apparently if I pick California, Massachusetts, it comes up with this message "Review other names from the same place". I am just click the state, I don't put in any name. This is the message that I had gotten before.
If I click on Mississippi, it gives me this message, "Go back to get involved to do another search".

As far as I understand, this is working as it should. The Quick Name review process is helping the computer recognize what are names and what aren't. We can't add any names other than what is highlighted.
The "Not a person" button is used when the computer picks up words that are not part of a name. For example, the computer identified this word as a person, but it is a state instead.
This is where you would click "Not a Person."
By clicking to go back, you are actually undoing the work you just did so that you can take a second look at it. That's why it shows the same names again.
I have been told that all the names that go through Quick Name Review will also be sent through Full Name Review. That is where volunteers can adjust the highlights or add new ones to capture the full name.
Right now there don't appear to be any English language records uploaded for Full Name Review. That is why you are getting the message, "Go back to get involved to do another search." But keep checking as they add new records often.

I can honestly say that is not how it was working before the other day. I know that you can't add another name but when you click not a person it would take that name out and make it blank if you went back to it if went you go back the name is still there even though you said it wasn't a person. Here is an example of which I talked about when clicking not a person, ie: the person's name is correct but the "of Claverack" is a name of town", I click not a person it use to take the name out and make that box blank, but it doesn't, the town still appears and that is the part that is puzzling to me, if it is not a person clicking the "not a person" should take it out. This is consistent with which ever browser I use. With AI helping with names, it also misses quiet a few of them in which you cannot add them in.
When you click not a person it gives you the option of either cancel or not a person. If I am not sure of spelling of a name I would click the not sure button. I can only tell you what it used to do and now that is doing something different. I thought that there was issue with the "Not a Person" button. Thank you for helping me with this.
