Why can't I re-add a person that disappeared from this record index?
Record for reference: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L9HN-VS63?view=index
I was working on adding unindexed information to Anna Leszkowitz' Declaration of Intention record (linked above), such as her age, sex, etc so that the record was more complete. Suddenly, the record stopped updating correctly, and when I refreshed the page, the entries for Anna and Antoni disappeared and the index was empty, with no visible history.
I have since tried re-adding people to this index, to restore what was lost; however, whenever I refresh the page, all records that I add then disappear again, and the history stays blank.
Am I doing something wrong? I have been adding and highlighting further data to indexes plenty of times recently, without ever encountering an issue this severe. Is there another way to save Anna's information for this record?
Thank you.

Any time you use the index editor to make changes to the "structure" of an index entry, such as by adding fields to it, you risk attracting the editor's still-resident gremlin. (It's much bigger than a mere bug.)
I know all of the genealogy websites treat indexes as if they were the primary (or sometimes only) source of information, but that's a misuse: indexes are meant to be finding aids. They're not supposed to be complete transcriptions; you can't search by age or race or eye color, so there's little point to adding such things to the index.
I suggest you add the details from the record to the Notes field of the source citation, not to the index.
(Given that the gremlin ate the index in question, you're going to have to do that anyway. No, I don't know how to get such index entries back.)

I've encountered an index in my recent research that another user has edited - badly. The index is now partially missing and locked, so I can't even fix the bad edit.

Alright, thank you both for being able to validate that I'm not alone in this issue. Listing details in the notes it is!
