same person on two images
Please tell me if I index from both images for Frank Desimone even though they are on a separate image - or index each document separately? US Illinois 1905-1954

If they are on two separate images, they will be indexed. If they are on the same image, you will combine the DEC and PET with the record number and record date coming from the PET.
*This is assuming you had both documents. Access is restricted for the batch, so you probably figured it out ๐0 -
Oh, Mary Anne! I feel your pain, as we all do! After I had been indexing for about two months and had gotten fairly familiar with what I was doing, I thought about the first thirty batches or so that I had done and thought ๐ฎ I know some reviewer fixed all of my boo-boos, but I really felt like a dope.
We all have to learn from the beginning, so it's all good!

Your answer is the way I have been doing it, but wanted to make sure so the reviewers wouldn't wonder who on earth was doing the indexing! Thanks I can always depend on getting an answer.

I've been indexing since 2021 and erutherford has helped me many times! I had been indexing city directories for so long, I needed a refresher on naturalization rules. Looks like no more city directories in the forecast. It has been so easy to whip through the directories that it's good to get back to other names and records that family may be looking for. I love your name - cemetery tramp!

I'm here if you have naturalization questions. I'm usually around.
