US, Alaska—Church Records, 1816–1970 [MQGK-XKJ] - As a rule, we don't index any Comments or Remarks - see the far right column — but take a look at entry #7 - child named Margaret Papp; the remarks tell us the family name was changed to Hamilton so the Surname entry should be Papp or Hamilton for both the child and the parents'. Correct? Future researchers may be working on the Hamilton family in Alaska or the Papp family and not necessarily have both.
