"Box"?

The sources attached to a Family Tree profile are listed on the Sources tab, or in the Sources side-panel on the Details tab. In addition, if a conclusion has been tagged with sources, then the viewing and editing popups for the conclusion list those sources in their right-hand columns. I wouldn't describe any of those as a "box", and none of them are labeled that way, so I can't figure out what you're seeing. (Or not seeing, as the case may be.) Can you elaborate?

Yes, unfortunately your report is far to vague in order for it to be investigated for a possible bug, etc. Nobody can even attempt to replicate unless more specific detail is added / available through your "guest".

And, it is possible to attach sources to a profile without adding them to the Source Box. Adding sources to the Source Box is optional when using the Source Linker.
