LOSS OF WORK IS REALLY DISCOURAGING
US—Mortality Schedules, 1850–1880 [Part C] [MQN7-T6D]
Yet again…. to spend over an hour indexing this group of names only for the SUBMIT button not to work is leading me to not want to do indexing… and I've been an indexer since the 90's when the work was on a Microfische machine. Why can't the bugs be fixed? I have posted way too many posts about losing indexing work.

I don't get what's going on. Why is only the date indexed?

@DebPlumbersWife , hi I know you didn't go thru and blank all those entries so this means everything you indexed was replaced by <blank> when you hit Submit? That's terrible and needs to be fixed asap! My suggestion would be to keep your batch in queue and call FS support during business hours the number is 866-406-1830 press option 3 for help with indexing and have them do a share batch with you so they can "see" the problem when you hit submit. The only other thing I can think of is that somehow the CTRL button was hit ( I apologize, I'm not tech savvy & I don't know if you're using a desktop or a phone device) instead of Submit. I use my mouse to hit Submit rather than the keyboard. Does this happen only when you have multiple entries like with a census, a directory or mortality schedule? Or does it happen when you have a NAT with only 3 images to index? Hope this gives you some help or at least hope. Mary
