Anyone know the isle of man history?

I'm trying to find out if there was ever a Crosby house in the village of Crosby which was near Douglas in the isle of man.

We have a photo of said house but not a full picture, my husband's grandmother was supposed to have worked there in the early 1920s but we are struggling to find out the truth behind this or the existence of this house
