Free Ancestry account
I'm a member of the Church and am trying to set up a free account on Ancestry.com, but it won't let me as I apparently set up a free Ancestry account a number of years ago. Can you help me?

Hi Scott - This generally needs to be handled by phone. Please call 866- 406-1830 and ask for help in connecting to Ancestry. They will set up for a call back to you from the dedicated team dealing with Ancestry issues.

My experience has been that those that call in to the help 866-406-1830 and get set up for a call back from the dedicated team are very successful in getting their problem solved. I highly recommend that if you are having issues with connecting your ancestry account with your member Family Search account that you call the help line.
