Reference to darkening / contrast of pictures & saving work

Though many of my photos are old, they are mostly clear. After scanning in the Family History Library I went to Memories/Gallery to adjust photos. I'd move the scrolls for the above but it wouldn't save. I've even contacted SLC Genealogy and Feed Back hoping for answers. Anyone else with this concern. Any solutions? Thank you!

It is currently not possible (and never has been) to adjust an image that has already been uploaded to Memories (with the one exception of rotating the image). Yes, as you view the image you are allowed to make some temporary adjustments to help you view the image better, but those adjustments to brightness, contrast, and inversion cannot be saved.

The solution is to make all your image adjustments (using your scanning tool or any number of third-party image editing tools) before you upload the image to Memories.
