I'm looking for any records pertaining to my 4th Great Grandfather, Louis Etienne Goule, native of Rouen. His first record I can find is in Canterbury, Kent UK in 1798 and I'm unsure of when he came over to England. He is registered as a surgeon in the 17th Light Dragoons in England, unusual for a French citizen at that time.
