Hello,

Is there a way for someone to take a few photos of a book that is in the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City?

Are there any volunteers who are willing to help in this way?

Thank you.

First - have you checked to see if the book is available elsewhere? Many books - depending on age and copyright status - may be available in another library or even online.

Someone asked about a book in SLC over the weekend, and I found a copy online. If you'll share the details, I'll be glad to check my resources.

I have already checked all that. In fact, I am looking for a book that is in 4 volumes.

All 4 volumes are marked as 'available online.' So, they should normally be accessible online... The only problem is that when you click on them, only volume 4 is accessible...

Those digital volumes are viewable at any FamilySearch Center or Affiliate Library, not just in Salt Lake City at the Main Library. If you don't have one nearby, I visit mine most weeks and will be happy to see what I can find for you, if you will share the details.

Are you sure it's available in any FamilySearch center? I have serious doubts about that. In any case, it's difficult for me to visit a center (I have health issues that make traveling difficult).

If it's possible for you to check, it would be very kind. In fact, in Volume 3, there's a chapter (a few pages with tables) dedicated to the 'MAGGI' family. I would really appreciate photos of these pages if it's possible...

    Thank you very much.

The european support just told me this : "

"We accept that it is inaccessible for those of us in Europe, but the books can be accessible for those able to visit the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City."

Yes, available at EVERY Affiliate Library and EVERY FamilySearch Center. Access is to digital images.

Well ! So If you can check what I'm hoping for the next time you go to a center, it's wonderful. Thanks !
