Hello I am indexing a pedition for naturalization and see the last name of Cantor, however it says that the individual was formerly known as Knorel. Which name should I use? Would it be helpful to place both?

If it is a male, you will index it as Cantor Or Knorel. If it is a married female, it will be indexed as Knorel Cantor. If it is a single female, it will be indexed the same as a male applicant.
