Maria Anne Gregos - GK6H-N9Y
Hello! Looking for information to confirm that Magdolna Emperez (L7KD-J6G) was indeed Maria's (GK6H-N9Y) mother and Istvan Grego (L7KD-J6L) is her father? The dates of birth per her death record are correct for Magdolna and Istvan with 29SEPT1878. (per find a grave)
Am I on the right track or are her parents actually Andras Grega and Anna Tarazik? per find a grave index their birthdates are a few months off, not 29SEP1878 but 14NOV1878. Perhaps that would have been her baptism date?
I am just a little confused. Any help would be very much appreciated.

The Mária with parents István Gregó and Magdolna Emperger who was born in Tordas on 27 September 1878 died on 20 May 1879, so she's definitely not your Mary — but you don't actually need that clue to tell, because the names of her parents don't even vaguely match the Indiana death record.

Found the arrival (index, image) that the 1938 naturalization must be referencing. The last residence is Lapispatak, Sáros county, Hungary, which in 1938 was Ploské, Czechoslovakia (and is now Ploské, Slovakia).
Given Lapispatak, the birthplace for the 1902 birth (written on the naturalization as "Kralovci, Abavuska, Czechoslovakia") is most likely Királynép, Abauj-Torna county, Hungary, which was Kráľovce, Czechoslovakia when the naturalization paperwork was filed (and is Kráľovce, Slovakia now). Királynép (found also as Királynépe) was across the county line in Abaúj-Torna, but Dvorzsák's gazetteer says that its Roman Catholic residents were recorded in Lapispatak, Sáros.
Királynép/Kráľovce doesn't explain the second element of the birthplace on the Petition for Naturalization, though. I'm pretty sure the typed 'v' is the result of a misreading of an 'r', because there were two places named Ruszka in Abaúj-Torna county: Regeteruszka and Gönczruszka. The latter is still in Hungary, so it would not show up as Czechoslovakia on the naturalization, which makes me suspect that the second element is a renaming of Regeteruszka (Ruskov). Or maybe it's the result of confusion about the county name versus a familiar-ish town name?
FamilySearch has some of the RC church registers for both Lapispatak and Regeteruszka, but the baptisms are only available up to 1895 for the one and 1901 (grr!) for the other. I checked the indexes of each one, and while both have some hits for Grega, neither one has Vadas.
