Indexed individuals linked to wrong parish
This is 3rd one I came across where the indexes are linked to very very wrong parishes
The indexed individuals in this set of records are actually in Bous parish as showed in first page of the record set but are indexed very wrongly as
Sankt Peter, Zons, Neuss, Rhein, Preußen, Deutschland
The other 2 known errors
Irsch bei Beurig, Saarburg, Rhein, Preußen, Deutschland is indexed as Irsch, Bitburg, Rhein, Preußen, Deutschland in error (I had to correct every entry because almost all of the persons in this parish are closely related to me, in the FamilySearch Tree.)

Probably not an indexing issue but a placename algorithm issue.

Nope! It was already an issue way back and still not fixed. New projects are still being indexed with wrong assigned place names.

The place name is correct in the catalog listing. That indicates the issue is with the place name algorithm.

That was looked at before, and it was not the problem. It's the indexing side that is the problem.

It get worse
Irsch, Trier, Rheinland , should be Irsch-Schondorf, Trier, Rheinland
Irsch bei Beurig, Saarburg, Rheinland - this one kept getting connected to name Irsch, Bitburg despite the linked records shows to be Irsch bei Beurig
Irsch, Bitburg, Rheinland
