Sources that are lost
In 2017 I recorded a source for the Baptism of John Whowell Booth
FamilySearch, "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975," Database, FamilySearch, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3A%22john%20whowell%22~%20%2Bsurname%3Abooth~%20%2Bbirth_place%3A%22Lanc (N.p.: n.p., n.d.), Viewed; 2 December 2017.
I am now unable to find this information on FamilySearch, where did it go?

Without a baptism year to go on, it's a bit difficult to help out, but have you tried the Lancashire Online Parish Clerks database ? www.lan-opc.org.uk There are many results for the name Whowell and it's variations in both the Christian name and Surname.
Other than that, because you did this a long time ago, can you be certain of the structure of the name ? e.g. "John Whowell" "Booth" or "John" "Whowell Booth"
Was he illegitimate and then his parents married later? e.g was he named after his mother Whowell, but also took the surname Booth.
Strange though that a search using *Whowell* in the surname field of Familysearch doesn't produce any results with a double barrelled surname. There are plenty in the Lancashire database.

Unfortunately, you can't go back and teach Past You not to save the search instead of the actual index entry ("record").
The collection still exists: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1473014.
Searching it for given name = John Whowell, surname = Booth, birthplace = Lanc* (i.e., anything beginning with the letters Lanc), it says there are 1,801 results, but none of the first 100 include "Whowell". Of course, it is entirely possible that the 2017 search's results didn't, either.
As Re Searching said, without a date or other information, there's not much we can do to help. I will note that the URL you've given appears to have been truncated: there's a quotation mark before the Lanc, but then it just ends, without the ending quotation mark. (The URL says %22 for quote marks [and %3A for colons and %20 for spaces] due to encoding gobbledygook.)

Unless and until the OP gives us a clue about when and where (other than apparently Lancashire) the lost baptism was, we're potentially going round in circles.
For instance, (wasting my own time here!) on Ancestry, there's a marriage at Manchester "Cathedral" (as it will become) on 11 May 1846 between John Whowell Booth and Sarah Done. The entry for John WB has a blank for his father's details, which normally indicates illegitimacy. However, given the infamous production line facilities at the "Cathedral", it's equally possible that the clerk simply missed the details.
John WB is described as a minor, so he was born after May 1825. Note that this guy's surname is Booth, so his names are the wrong way round to descend from the 1783 marriage above of William Whewell to Jane Booth. Unless, of course, someone wants to obscure his parentage!
