Chrome Browswer and Images (Catalogs, etc.)
Has anyone been having issues with Chrome all of a sudden not allowing the images in the catalogs to open up, like it's saying that I am not allowed to access them or it just eventually quits letting me in and just spins? I clear cache and all that and it gets to the point I have to shut down and restart everything but while that's happening I can use another browser and open them up fine. Is there some issue between Chrome and how they are putting the images out to view? Most times it's fine but it seems after a few hours it's not. I mean, worst case scenario I have an alternative browser to use but it's Chrome that is the issue but then I can go on another device and use Chrome and they open up fine. It just seems to affect one device and I can't get it to fix without all the resetting.

Just an FYI, I flushed IP and cleared cache and restarted and still not able to open up in Google Chrome. I personally think we have an issue here.

It's not browser specific. It happens to all. The issue is caused by a delay in proving the validity of your account at some point in the chain. Unfortunately, once the error has occurred, then it latches, and no matter what your credentials to access images are no good. The only solution I have found is to quit and come back after about ten minutes. There is a workaround for some images. If you can 'right click' you can 'open the image' and then change the bit at the end of the URL to change the scale to say 9600, and then you can see it and magnify it by clicking on it.

OK then why can I use the same device and another browser and I'm all good and it's the same account with the same IP and online provider? Why can I log onto another computer connected to the same wifi and router and same account and I'm all good but that one browser on that one device gives me issues? If it was account specific, don't you think it would be seen on no matter what device I use with my one account? It seems to be all good now but I had to let it sit for a few hours and this restarting and constant clearing of cache is becoming a nuisance. I've been on here over 5 years and have never had problems like this so often.

Yes, there are many errors and problems with Google recognizing our I.D's & logins. It is a total nightmare.

I didn't say it was account specific. I said it's not browser specific. At any time when you're using the image viewer a glitch can occur which breaks the promise chain. When that happens, the 'bad credentials' latch is set and you cannot recover within that session (and possibly not for a short time after restarting with the same browser) . If you create a new session using another browser, then a new promise chain is created and your credentials are good , for a while, until the same error happens.
