If you have'nt already sorted this out, then could you supply some more information so that others can try to help. Were you using a tablet, phone or a computer. Were you editing the person details or linking a source to the person ?

Okay, let's get you some help.
First, if you DID NOT add this particular Memory, you CANNOT add Details. The owner of the Memory will have to update the Details.
If YOU added this particular Memory, then you can open the Memory, click the "Edit" above the Memory image and you should be able to insert the Details you want (Title/Place/Date/Description). Then Save your edits. I can make mine work, but if you can't, please let me know.
Be aware: adding the Place can be a bit tricky. . . the system will want to make it a "standardized" location. If you try and put it "My dad's backyard," it won't work. Or if you enter "Clinton City park," it might give you back, Clinton City, Davis, Utah, United States, which might not have anything to do with your correct location. You will need to work with the system's standardized locations to get a correct one. Try to do the best you can!
Let us know if you need further help.

Hi @David76656
It looks like you need help, and I’m sure our Community has many who can help.
But first, you might need to post this question in a better Category.
For general help, try the Ask A Question>General Questions Category. Or you can post in the Ask A Question>Family Tree Category.
Also, you will get better answers if you can ask more specific questions. Like, “My Great-grandfather isn’t in the FamilySearch Tree. How do I add him?” Or, you can try looking at instructional videos like those by Judy Sharp.
Good luck!

A visit to your local FamilySearch Center could maybe save you a lot of time. You can sit down with a consultant there and work through your issues. To find one near you just enter in your zip code or town in this link.
