1921 Canadian Census - French unknown word
HI, I am indexing the 1921 Census and I cannot figure out what French word was written under the "Occupation" of all of the wives on the page who do not have a job.
It looks like it starts with an O or an A and is about 5 or 6 letters long. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Maybe Oceane or Ocunne

aucun or acunne means none in English and I've found most 1921 wives do not have jobs outside the home. Boxes where None is used should be marked <blank> except column 30 which has specific instructions for the drop-down list — see what to remember in the project instructions
Also I've found it best not to try translating French occupations in particular for two reasons: translating is not part of indexing so type what you see and an English word is not necessarily the same in French ie baker could mean baker of bread not cakes and other sweets.
