Occupation from attached Census not displayed in view mode

DETAILS:

When I attach a new census source any occupation listed for a person is displayed and can be added to their events. After a census source has been attached I expected that viewing the source contents should show transcribed occupations (as previous web page design did), but it is not there. Even a newly created occupation event fails to displays the source's transcript fully.

This is the case for a viewing a source's transcript accessed either from the detail event entry or under sources tab. The only way I have found to view transcribed occupations on an attached source is to perform a second Review Attachment (Sources). This is a particular problem when reviewing existing census event sources for missing occupations.

QUESTIONS:

is there a setting that needs to be turned on or was this field missed during web page redesign? Can this be addressed to reflect previous web page design intent?

Is there a way to prevent identical occupations from multiple sources/years consolidating into a single non dated event? It would be preferable to have them tag independently and to transfer the source's date and location in the occupation event result. This would gives a more accurate picture of their life history.
