Wrong parents added to a person in my family

You should be able to hit the pencil icon on the offending child crelationship and remove it from there.

Yes, I was hoping to make it simple & just remove the parents all at once, but I had to remove/replace the parents for each child & it isn't a small family. Unfortunately, now I keep getting record hints for the wrong parents because they still have the children of my ancestors. Very annoying

In a situation like you describe, safety is better than efficiency so it really is best to move the children one at a time even though it is a large family.
If you are still getting incorrect hints, that means either that you have not fully corrected all family relationships yet and the hints will disappear when you do or those incorrect hints were the cause of the initial errors because you are dealing with two families with very similar information which led to the wrong parents being given to the children. After correcting the family relationships, carefully assess the hints and dismiss those that are for other people.
If you post the ID number for your 2nd great grandmother and give more details about the problems involved, people here can probably give more suggestions as to how to fix things.

If all children need to be moved to a new set of parents:, say from A1+A2 to B1+B2.
- While on the page for A1, replace the spouse A2 with B2. The children affected should be listed in the Remove or Replace dialog.
- While on the page for B2, replace the spouse A1 with B1.
If for some reason the system throws the "This relationship already exists error, remove the relationship between B1 + B2 first, and make sure there are no relationships between the As and Bs already.
Sources will still need to be moved separately if they're not attached correctly.

As @Gordon Collett suggests, safety is better. It might suit your purpose to add new parents to one of the children, initially by using made-up names to prevent the 'Research help' from interfering, and then copy the siblings across as children of that couple using their PID. Then you can change the names of the new couple to the correct names and birthdate etc. This method allows you to be selective about which of the attached sources should be moved to the correct couple, and which should be left associated with the wrong couple. Then you can add a note to the wrong couple explaining why they should be detached. This will allow the person who made the change to explore how they made the mistake.

I created each of the children again & attached the proper parents. That way the person who attached them wrong won't come back & attach the wrong parents again.

So what did you do with the original copies of those children? Each person should be in Family Tree just once without any duplicates. If you have created duplicates, the possible duplicates routine will eventually find them and suggest people merge them. If you want this done correctly, you need to merge all duplicates, correct all relationships, and document all this with all the sources you can find.
The best way to make sure the person who originally attached the wrong parents won't do so again is to go to that set of parents and research that family and get all the children of those parents correctly documented and sourced so that there is no way people can confuse the two families.
If you are not sure how to do any of this, either go to a FamilySearch Center and get help, set up an online consultation with a FamilySearch volunteer through the Contact Us section, or post the IDs of the incorrect and correct parents so we other users can help here.
