How do I index City Directories pertaining to a business and a residential area

I do not understand the instructions in the City Directories when it talks about a business being listed with a residential area. Do I only index the people with an h behind their names?

What about several people listed who are working for the same company, but all have separate names.

You do not index businesses and do not index individuals that are listed with a business as they will have their own listing elsewhere in the directory.
