Fields for "previous residence" and "Destination" when editing immigration indexes?
I'm doing a little one-name study and I'm trying to add data for the "previous residence" and "Final Destination" fields on immigration records, but the only option I can find is to add them as a regular "Residence". Does anyone have any ideas as to how I should go about this?

Yikes, you're adding these things using the index editor? Are you aware that it was a badly-rushed piece of software in which they still haven't fixed all of the bugs? In particular, I don't know the current state of the fight with the permissions-eating gremlin. This means that any time you edit an index, especially in ways that affect the structure, such as by adding fields, you run the risk of the index entry — or the entire page of index entries — disappearing from the database. Granted, I have been making edits here and there in the past month or so, and haven't seen the gremlin's effects (knock on wood), but I try to do so only with entries that have already been found (i.e., entries that are already attached to profiles, or ones that I am about to attach to profiles).
If you're willing to risk the gremlin, I suppose the "Move From" and "Move To" events might suit your purpose. I have no idea what they look like in an actual index entry, of course.

Can you add different dates for each residence? You might then put in the date the ship left the initial country as the date for the original residence and then the date the ship arrived as the new residence date.
