I am researching my Marsh family tree have reached Peter Marsh born Westhoughton Lancashire 1680 but have hit a brick wall after that date don't seem to be able to confirm his farther possibly John born Wigan Lancashire may have emigrated to America any help please

What is the ID number for Peter please? I can see a number of Peter Marshs from Westhoughton Lancashire but all are 18th century or later.
