I'm looking for any information anyone could provide on a Saxon-born French general named Jean-Armand de Dieskau who died in Suresnes, Hauts-Seine, France on 8 September 1767. I contacted the La Société Généalogique Canadienne-Française’s Project Montcalm database in Quebec, their database contains no record of the general’s death certificate in their registers.

I'm truly hoping someone with more resources can help.

Thanks in advance.
