US—City Directories, 1902–1935 [Part F] [MQ26-9WB]

A few entries in this batch have a name and then spouse's name in parentheses. I have not come across this type of entry before. I just want to make sure I index these correctly.

Entries are : Frazer, Minnie (Mrs A. B), Francis, Willie (Mrs A. G.), Franke, Mary (Mrs H Bruno) Fox, Ruby Rose (Mrs Charles). Would I index these as Frazer-Mrs-Minnie then index the spouse as Frazer-A B and so forth?

They will be indexed as the following:

    Prefix: Mrs.
Give Name: Minnie Or A. B.
    Surname: Frazer

Since there is no proof that the spouses are alive, don't index the spouse. Many widowed women went by Mrs. A. B. Frazer. My maternal grandmother, whose name was Dorothy, went by Mrs. Russell Edwards even after my grandfather died.
