index editing no longer works?

I can edit and highlight a name which I have found in the search index pointing to an original document, but the button to "Save Changes" remains grayed out, so that the changes can never take effect.

    I've had the same problem, @John Chandler_1

For the most part, I've given up on editing because the editor has so many problems. See this thread, among others.

I did report this through the Feedback tab a few days ago. Should be easy to fix for the short term. I assume they mean to enable it after a change is made, but I hope they don't wait on a complete fix before enabling it.
