Information about FSCs need updates online, but limited options

I would like more options to update details please, such as 'Currently Closed - (and perhaps) your nearest FSC is at ……..'

Being able to change 'Center' to the British spelling of 'Centre'

Removal of email addresses and phone numbers that nobody is answering as a FH calling is not assigned in some units

Just a few suggestions to help our patrons. Are there any plans for this I wonder?

It is my understanding that FamilySearch Centers are part of the FamilySearch Library, so you could try writing directly to the Library. (I have never seen anyone from the Library reply to a Community post, nor seen a moderator offer to refer a post on to the Library)

There are two email address for the Library in the following help article, neither seems directly relevant, but you could ask that your email be referred to the relevant section https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-request-a-correction-to-the-familysearch-catalog

Thank you for your suggestions. We are constantly adding new features to the location finder. If the center director is using their center tools you will see not only if the center is currently open or closed but all centers within a 50 mile radius of that center and their hours and contact information.
we will continue to provide more relevant information to each center and give the director of each center the ability to convey more information about their center and the facilities and resources available at their center. Thank you for your suggestions and patience as we develop this program and shift this responsibility back to each center director and priesthood leadership to keep it updated and accurate in a more timely manner.

I am the Chester FamilySearch Centre formerly known as director 😊 As far as I can tell I currently do not have much control of what is shown online for Chester. I can't even correct the spelling of 'Center'. This annoys British people 😃. I might want to put 'Closed until September' but can't, unless I am missing something.

Sadly we cannot see which FSCs are open or closed in many cases and it causes problems for anyone keen to use a Centre. Some FSCs have an email address, phone number and opening times and are in fact closed and do not respond at all.

I look forward to improvements with thanks for all you do - it can't be easy.
