It appears that a bunch of family charts have been added to Memories and the person is referencing them.

To prove or disprove this is possible. First, someone has a birth record for G9MR-4RX (the father) and his parents (grandparents of LW5Y-CNC) that does not look plausible to me. To me this implies that more than one generation of Kings may be incorrectly connected, involving multiple men of the same name. Secondly, Colonial Virginia has birth and marriage records, but it also has tithable records, which were lists of boys who had attained the age of 16. They were sometimes recorded with their fathers. There are also land records, land taxes and wills. In 1782 a more detailed tax was started which might be useful. However, many of these records are by county, are not indexed and require a researcher to spend time and know which counties to look at. To prove or disprove, I would confirm that LW5Y-CNC was indeed born in Virginia and then look at where he was married and where each child was born. It appears he either lived in the portion of Virginia which became Kentucky or moved to Kentucky and in looking at some of the birth places for the children of LW5Y-CNC, I see some were born in places that didn't exist the year they were born. So to sort this out you will need to learn when and where the states were created and the counties changed. When people moved during or after the Revolution, it was almost always because of land availability. Also, Kentucky marriage records contain Virginia marriage documents for those locations. Look for all of that. Many old Kentucky land records are with the Virginia collection of patents and grants. But, beginning around 1790-1800, land records start appearing in the new system and patents will be visible in the BLM GLO system. Deeds are now searchable in the Full Text Search page, so use that. Good luck. I would say this is pretty doable.
