When I am indexing a record for someone who was baptized but has both a Heathen name from before baptism and a Christian name from after baptism which one do I log as their "Given name?"

    The project instructions say:

"Given names may be referred to as the "heathen name," "pagan name," or "Christian name." Include all aliases, nicknames, or variant names that were given for a person, separating them with the word Or."

So both should be listed as the given name.

What do the project instructions and examples show/say?

In the project that I recall having "heathen name" and "Christian name" columns on the forms, the instructions called for treating one of them as the surname or family name. I also recall that it was highly confusing, because the example image seemed to do it exactly backwards from the instructions.
