Directory Confustion?

The indexing instructions for city directories say to index only residential directories, not business directories. I pull up a project and the top of the image just says "City Directory" and the city name, but all the entries just have 1 person's name, and then lists an occupation type and address. No wife or other names. So, would that be a business directory or a city directory that lists each head of household and includes his or her occupation?

Occupations listed next to a residential entry do not count as a business listing. It's letting the person looking at the directory know that this person listed is a tailor or a seamstress or a policeman. A business listing is something like Smith's Shoe Repair or Carson Building Company.
