How to replace a memory file (PDF)

Apologies if this is really obvious, but I have just added a PDF memory with its associated description, date, place, etc. It's a newspaper page and I decided it would be good to highlight the actual article, so I edited the PDF accordingly, but how do I re-upload the PDF without starting the memory from scratch again?

There's no option for replacing the content of an existing memory. You just need to create a new memory. You can use the memory you originally created as a reference, so that you can make the various bits of metadata match, and then finally delete the original memory.

It would be an interesting option to allow replacement of the original memory content. It could certainly be useful in cases like this, but could be misused. For example I could upload a memory, then you add tags or comments based on the original content. Then I swap out the content, perhaps making your tags or comments irrelevant or confusing. That might be frustrating to you as a contributor to that memory I created. I don't know if concerns such as these led FamilySearch to choose not to allow content replacement, or if it's just a possible enhancement not yet implemented.

Many thanks @Alan E. Brown - that all makes sense, especially given the (as far as I can see) complete lack of a change log for Memories. (Thinking this through makes me question why Stories can be edited in place.)
