I messed up and attached the wrong ancestor. How do you delete the person?

    That depends on what exactly you mean by "attached".

    If you created the erroneous profile, and nobody else has edited it, then you should be able to delete it: go to the Details page, scroll down to the Tools box in the right-hand column, and click on "Delete Person".

    If you attached an already-existing profile, but it turns out to be for the wrong person, then you can remove or replace the relationship. For example, if you've attached the wrong parents to one of your relatives, go to the relative's Details page, scroll down to the Family Members section, find where the relative is listed underneath the wrong parents, and click the edit (pencil) button after the relative's name. On the resulting popup, you have a choice of three different edit buttons: you can remove or replace just the father or just the mother, or you can remove or replace both parents by clicking the edit button under the child's name.
