City directory business question,

would entry 8 be indexed or not. it is a company name but looks like it is also the name of a person. I realize this question has been answered multiple times. I appreciate your patience in answering it yet again. I understand not indexing names in a business entry, but then I seen this entry and I'm not sure what to do with it

    @sharonnorviel I would index Ann Rutledge but I'm not sure because Ann is obviously her given name and without the comma to separate given and surnames properly, Ann Rutledge is the company name so I'm tagging @erutherford for the final word 😎

    No, that should not be indexed as that is a name of a mining company. Ann Rutledge would be shown in another part of the city directory or maybe does not live in this city or state.
