Glitch in View Tree
When you look up Willemke Bijl Female 2 September 1858 – Deceased 93Q8-14Q in Family Tree (FT) and click on her VIEW TREE, her mother is on the top box of the pedigree, and her father is on the bottom box. When you look at Willemke in the Landscape View, her parents appear correctly, with the father on top. Also, if you look at the Person Page for either of her parents, and then look at the Family Group sheet for the family, Willemke is marked with two sets of parents. They are the same parents, with the same ID numbers, but one of the sets of parents has the mother listed on top. We know that if the parents are listed incorrectly in the Landscape View, they can be switched, by following the Help Center article: How do I switch parent or spouse positions to change the display of family lines in Family Tree? In this case, the Landscape View lists the parents correctly, but the VIEW TREE does not. Is there a way to correct this ourselves, or does this have to go to the engineers to make the correction?

I have no idea why or how it happened, but Willemke — but only Willemke, not any of her siblings — had her parents switched around on her parent-child relationship screen (popup). I've now switched them to their expected places, which has fixed all of the chart views (landscape, portrait, fan) for me. I haven't checked the family group sheet.
I apologize for going ahead with the change, instead of telling you how to do it, but I wasn't sure it'd work — it was such weird behavior, where the charts were correct when centered on any other family member, just not when centered on Willemke, and even for her, her parents were in the expected positions in the Family Members section of her Details page. I tried first with the pencil icon next to Lieuwe and Anna's marriage, but of course the "switch" option wasn't available on that popup. It was only when I clicked on the pencil next to Willemke's name where she was listed under her parents that I got the "switch" option at the bottom of the popup. It is of course no longer there, since her parents appear in their normal places now, and the switch is only allowed one-way. (Which begs the question: how the heck did they get switched in the first place?)

Thanks Julia for making that change, and for letting me know where I should have tried more things. I checked the Family Group Sheets, and they now look OK. The parents had been merged and perhaps that had something to do with the glitch that we saw earlier.

It happens often enough that there is even a Help Article on switching parent positions.
