We had some discussions in the Community about Search/Cemeteries a few months ago because some of us had missing relatives, like you. Unfortunately, nobody was able to tell us how it works.
So far as we could see, the data under that option, comes from FindAGrave and/or BillionGraves. (Is there anything else? Not sure)
So if your relatives are not in one of those two, we believe that they won't appear in this Search.
Next, the FindAGrave and BillionGraves data for those relatives must have been copied into the FamilySearch collections in question - they have pretty obvious collection names. If they've only just been added, they may not be in FS yet.
Then the FindAGrave or BillionGraves index records for those relatives must be attached to the relatives' profiles in FS. That's the only way FS can know that index record is for one of your family.
We also believe that each of those relatives must have a burial event tagged to the FindAGrave or BillionGraves index record.
We think that if any of those steps is missing, then the relative won't appear in the Search.
And the problem is that several of us set up all of those steps but our relatives still didn't appear. So, personally, I'm not even convinced that the Cemetery Search facility is being updated. Maybe it was created once but the data has never been updated. Either that or there's something else missing from our understanding.
So I'd suggest that you have a look at the above list of things and see what you can do.
If anyone can produce a better description, please feel free to do so. I have no objection to being wrong if it generates the truth.

There are many graves in the United States and in the World that are still undocumented and undiscovered especially on family farms and elsewhere. It takes all of us with the proper historical records to sometimes set up a grave memorial for a relative.
I’ve personally used the historical documents to set up gravesites on Findagrave without a problem for relatives.
My cousin and I actually have found a relative’s gravestone improperly carved by the maker with the wrong date of death. This was something that was overlooked because nobody caught the mistake until two years ago. We know it’s her, but we can’t connect her FindAGrave to FamilySearch because of the error, so we made note of it in the memory section and in the notes for future generations.
What I’m trying to say, if you know of any missing relatives graves and you have the historical information then go to Findagrave and and make a Memorial Gravesite for your relative. Then transfer that information to FamilySearch with the FindAGrave number that was assigned.Hope this helps

I have received similar emails from Family Search about information they have which would be of interest to me. But when I login to view the information I get the well used response that Family Search can't find the information. If they found the information to send me the email then logic tells me they have the information.
