Book at Family history library about Prignitz, Germany
I need to look for my Lenth/Lendt/Lenthe/Lent family in a book at the library by Georg Gruenburg. The book has marriages from 1704 to about 1750. It's only available at Salt Lake City's Family History Library. How much would it cost to have someone look for any relevant marriage records in the book? I can supply more specific information from a transcript I once received from the parish of Bresch, a parish within West Priginitz kreis.

FamilySearch Library does not offer look-up or transcript/excerpt services, either free or for a fee. You can check Cyndi's List for Salt Lake providers.
Have you checked worldcat.org? Sometimes a book is available at another library. And, depending on year of publication/copyright, many books have been digitized by various providers and can be accessed online.0 -
I have checked worldcat.org. The Denver public library has volumes for the period before 1705 published by the same author, but unfortunately they do not have the volumes yet for 1705 to 1750. Since the books were published in 1994, they would not be digitized. The only place in the United States that has the 1705 to 1750 volumes is Harvard.

Not all libraries participate in WorldCat. My local library is one of the top genealogy libraries in the country. If you want to share the details, I'll be happy to check.
