In the City Directories - indexing, when a names says Riley , see Reilly and Rielly, etc

and the next 30 names have the name Riley, do you really want all of the alternates listed on all of the names, when all of the names seem to be Riley, and the other spellings may appear in another place on the record?

    Any name with "see also" attached are not indexed, so you will index Riley only. The alternate names are a reference for the researcher alerting them to possible other spellings of the person they are researching.
