is it correct to search images previous to the doc I am reviewing?

while reviewing an indexed image I see that an additional name was added to the form entry field. This additional name was gleaned from a previous image listed as not to be indexed.

what is correct, only data from the images to be indexed or data gleaned from other images not part of the assigned images?

The batch or project is coming up as restricted for me, but it's a moot point, as shared batches don't have the reference images anyway.

In general, we fully index any entry that begins in our batch, even if that means looking at later images. The complications are in defining "an entry", especially in the naturalization projects, because in those, depending on how things are arranged, two different indexable documents for the same person may or may not count as separate entries.
