From Project Instructions/What To Remember About This Project:

If a naturalization document was filled out on behalf of a spouse or child, index the information about the child or spouse as the principal person. For documents created in behalf of a child, do not add entries in the data entry area to index the names of the parents.

Project Instructions are located at the bottom of the indexing part of the batch (left-hand size) or by clicking on the last icon on the toolbar.

You won't run into too many child Naturalizations. Children were (and probably still are) Naturalized as part of the adoption process. I've done less than 75 (ballpark) in the handful of years that I've been doing naturalizations and they have almost always been post 1970-ish.
