This is a fun button. It let's me see how I'm related to probably a kajillion names in the tree.

But how about between people on the tree? For example, how is Dosha Cherry L5BX-XGC related to Margaret Susan Cherry LLQF-RGS?

I can lay out a grid and see they are first cousins once removed BUT THERE MUST BE A SIMPLER WAY!!

Going back, I have lots of ancestors whose relatives intermarried. Is there an easy ways to firugre this out?

The relationship calculator in the FSFT calculates just the shortest path from the selected profile to you. There are 3rd-party products that will calculate other relationships.

One simple option for calculating relationships is RelativeFinder, which uses your FamilySearch credentials to access Family Tree.
