In North America or in India?

In Family Tree? While Indexing? In the Places database editor to request new standards? Elsewhere?

Do you have an example of a couple of places you are trying to enter wherever it is you are doing this?

I know it has been a while, but if you are still having issues with the locations in Indian Territory, you can ask about them in the First Nations of North America group. Also, in the FamilySearch Places database you can submit information validating that the place existed and request a standardized place to be created. If you are having difficulty determining the different levels of the places this article in the FamilySearch Wiki might help you with those.
