Indexing Italian Marriage Records that have birth information of children

I am reviewing Italian marriage records and found one that also has birth dates of the children belong to the couple written in the marriage document. I don't think the birth information is to be indexed, just the marriage information. I can't seem to find any information in the help section that discusses this topic. What is the correct procedure? Thank you for your help.

Just in case anyone else needs to know. I called FamilySearch Support yesterday to get an answer to this question. They said that birth information found on Italian marriages is NOT to be indexed. These documents are primary sources for marriages only.

Thanks for this. That was the way I was going to answer your question the other day because that's how it's been on other projects, but I don't work on this particular one so wasn't sure. Good to know.
