Where is Ctrl+B on an iPad

I’m new to indexing and I’m using an iPad. The instructions say to press Ctrl+B to mark a field blank. I can’t find any way to do this on my iPad keyboard. Do I need an external keyboard to be able to index?

To the right of the submit batch icon (the paper airplane) there is an icon with an x and a white box to either side. This should function the same as Ctrl + B. Don't use the one with black boxes, that is the button to mark the entire entry blank.

    It's ⌘ + B on Mac.

Where is that symbol located? I don’t have it on my keyboard.

@erutherford, they're from the same company, but iOS is not the same as Mac. 😕 In particular, the input mechanisms — such as keyboard shortcuts and international characters — are completely different.

I use a LOGI PC Keyboard for my Mac Mini. The CTRL key used for the Mac is the one that has the 4 Window panes as a symbol. On my keyboard, the Windows Pane (CTRL for Mac Users) is the key to the right of the left most CTRL key. The CTRL Key does not work on my mac. I use the Windows Pane key to copy (CTRL C), paste (CTRL V), and to mark the field as a blank (CTRL B)
