Why are important items not being added to the Blog?
I notice that updates to the "What's New at FamilySearch" category have not been made on a regular basis lately.
There have been changes made on the website and must have been additional historical records added since 25 February, but there are no posts to reflect this.
The Blog section can act as a very helpful way of updating FamilySearch patrons regarding changes / additions to the website, so hopefully provision of the come-to-be-expected regular reports will be resumed as soon as possible.

@Paul W Randy Seaver, a genie-blogger in California, posts regular updates to the collections. His most recent one is from Saturday, 20 April: https://www.geneamusings.com/2024/04/added-and-updated-familysearch-record_01940359308.html
That doesn't explain why the Newsroom doesn't share that information, but it is a way to find the info.

as an example, the "all-new" implementation for Memories, which appears completely different from previous implementation and still is experiences some technical problems (according to the Help Desk).

@melville,dl Did you see the new group dedicated to the New Memories experience?

Have a group to review changes to Memories is analogous to the proverbial "clsosing the barn door after the horse is already gotten out." sorry ….

Better late than never, and the developers are participating in the group. In my experience, a group where the programmers are present is a good thing.
