Can someone help me with the following batch in indexing Batch ID MQJK-DF5
I am new to this project. I'm not sure how to index oaths of allegiance. I had one where it was obvious it was a continuation of the previous image. I indexed it as a record in its own right but included the record number of the first image. Now I have one that has only the oath of allegiance and the next image is different. Some guidance would be helpful. No sense rattling off a hundred doing them wrong. thanks.

Oaths are indexed without a record number, including the certificate number. You only index the name and date (hint: post-1940 petitions, like this one, have the name of the applicant below the names of the witnesses. This applicant's name is Abraham Korochinsky).
Image 2 is for a different applicant and is also indexed (with the record number).
Both the Oath and the Declaration have examples on how to index them under Project Instructions/What To Index.2 -
Thanks. I have been through the examples. it just wasn't clear. Iread through what to remember about this project and it said,
- Some documents have reference numbers that refer to other documents. A number should be typed in the Record Number field only if it refers to the document actually shown on the image.
so no record number thanks

That is mostly for older records (think 1910s or 1920s). There can be two or three record numbers on, say, a Declaration. The record number for the Declaration is 3333. Then there is a different number, 12345, that is also on the document. That number may be the number of the Petition (most of them in my experience is for the Petition). Disregard 12345 and enter 3333 for the record number.
