US, Kansas—Naturalization Records, 1862–1982 [MQVF-1CB] Would someone please
check this batch and make sure it is correct. On image 1, document 1, I did not record it because it was an affidavit of sorts. On image 2 OOA, should I mark the record date blank or use the date from the affidavit of 24 Jun 1964?

@ Lisa Kay Horlacher Image 1 document 1 looks like part of an affidavit and you are correct not to index it. On image 2 OOA I would mark the record date <blank> - judging from the Sample OOA. Nice job!😎

I am new to indexing naturalization records. It has the men listed with the wives in parenthesis, but there are some that are just the women. Do I put them in the first space for surnames and given names or drop to the second space where the wives usually go?

If the applicant is a woman, you will put her in the given and surnames, not the spouse's given and surnames.
