Designating names of parents of the groom and bride
I would like to index these marriage records but need advise concerning the names for the parents. Are the hyphens separating the father and mother's names? Or are they both names for the father? Does "of" signify the mother's name or a place name? Or perhaps they are grandparents' names.

The "What to Remember" section of the project instructions includes a probably-relevant point:
- Some images in this project lack column headings. If a document does not show column headings, check the column headings on the previous or next image to see what information each column contains. If the previous and next images do not show column headings, the sample images may give you an idea of what each column refers to. After checking the previous and next images and the sample image, if you are not sure what the columns refer to, press Ctrl+B to mark the necessary fields blank.
Unfortunately, shared batches do not have the reference images (for reasons that I continue to be unable to fathom), but it's likely a moot point: I can tell from the bit of the facing page included on this image that if there are headings anywhere, they're unlikely to be within five images of this one.
My guess for the "of X/Y" part is that the groom was from X and the bride was from Y, but that's really just a guess. I am fairly certain, however, that "of" does not indicate parentage.
