marriage record for Johan Georg Buchwald (father: Wilhelm) and Elisabetha Baumgartner (father: Johan Friderich) . I am trying to separate or merge two couples with the same names, so I need every word so as to learn how to compare or contrast between these two couples.

@suzi waag smith You'll want to post in the Germany Research group where you will find a number of members qualified to translate for you.

Take care with posting the URL of the record as placing it on a line alone will cause a corruption. However, when I cleaned up the link (by replacing each %3A with :) the image is not viewable on FamilySearch. Perhaps it is restricted to LDS members. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSQT-RSGJ-C?cc=3015626

The ability to post a screenshot of the message is broken, but the message is

Here is the URL again. I tested it and it worked.

    Thank you so much.

Here it is again. This time not on a line by itself. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSQT-RSGJ-C?cc=3015626

Ok. That time it worked when I copied and pasted it into the search box.

It also worked when I just clicked on the link. It is a FamilySearch.org image, and I have been looking at it at home, so it should be available for anyone to see.

However, can someone tell me how to post a "snip it" of the image.

    Thank you, Suzi Waag Smith

Again, you'll want to post in the Germany Research group. The link is in my first comment.

@suzi waag smith, it must be an LDS-only image, because, like Áine, I cannot see it.

Thank you for trying to post the image, but unfortunately, the resolution is completely inadequate. This is what I can see if I zoom in on the image as far as my browser will go:

I can sort of make out the years (1716 to 1720 in Roman numerals) and that it's probably marriages ("Cop." in the margin), but the rest is hopeless. I can't even tell whether it's in German or Latin.

This handwriting is clear, so maybe this will work. Thanks for working with me. Suzi Waag Smith
