French language help in determining gender
Child G5JB-7B9 contains a parish burial/death record in Canadian French. I would appreciate someone who understands French to see if a gender for the child is shown. My language skill is rather limited (Google Translate only).
This child wanted to be found and attached to their family, so right or not, I created both genders. However, after further considering, I thought I would try the FS Community and ask for language help as I would like to disconnect the incorrect gender. Unfortunately, I have not used this method before so don't know how a response would come. I have used the message before so please message me just to make sure I get it.
Thank you,
Greg Lowe

@GregLowe The Canada Research Group is an excellent place to request help/translation on French Canadian records.
The record is from Ancestry - only someone with an Ancestry subscription will be able to view it. And, it runs across 2 pages, starting at the bottom of image 15 and continuing to the top of image 16, of the 25 images in that record set. My French is quite good but the handwriting is a bit difficult.

I decided to try, even though I am also restricted to Google Translate in this regard, but I wasn't able to figure out which part of the record the child was even in. I did, however, set both of the duplicate children's genders to "unknown" and merge them, in hopes that that will help avoid any issues and potentially attract the attention of people who could actually help.
